City Announces Emergency Preparedness Meetings for Residents

Hobokenites are invited to attend a series of disaster prep meetings being hosted by the city's Office of Emergency Management and Community Emergency Response Team.

The city's Office of Emergency Management and Community Emergency Response Team will offer a series of four "Hoboken Ready" meetings to educate residents on better preparing for emergencies.

The meetings, the first of which will be held Tuesday night at Wallace School, will serve both to inform the public on the emergency preparations the city has taken as well as to educate individuals on how they can prepare themselves, their families and their homes for potential emergency situations.

Residents can find additional disaster prep information at the city's Hoboken Ready website.
